Recently while attending the Type A Professional Conference at Walt Disney World in Orlando, I stayed at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, which was also the host location of the conference. Staying at a Disney hotel and resort is always an experience, so I was looking forward to seeing the offerings and accommodations being offered at the BoardWalk Inn. Little did I know, I was in for a real treat of nostalgia with a twist.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is a magical twist on the boardwalk at the beginning of the century. It’s Atlantic City meets Coney Island with a flair of unique experiences at every turn. Nestled against the boardwalk complete with a waterfront, shoppes, restaurants, and nightlife, I felt like I was in the center of everything.

The hotel itself is full of charm and romantical pieces of art and other fixings that is definitely  a flashback to a certain era. Think Barbra Striessand in Funny Girl meets Judy Garland in Meet Me in St. Louis. The room was appointed with decor from that era, but still managed to be modern too. I especially enjoyed the size of the room and the walkout patio. And amazingly, even though I was taking a step back in time while on the property, there were plenty of outlets, especially at the desk area, which makes a blogger and Digital Debutante like me feel at home. Oh, and the flat screen television wasn’t bad either.

Here are some photos of the BoardWalk Inn and my room:

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn boasts a pool (Luna Park Pool), a lake (Crescent Lake), and fitness center. You can also walk or take the boat to Epcot or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Transportation to other Disney Parks is available to all resort guests via Disney busing.

I can say that I would consider staying at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn during a future trip to WDW.
