Raijean and I had an awesome time during our most recent trip together visiting the Bay Area in August. We got to do a lot of things in and around San Francisco thanks to the people over at San Francisco Travel, who hooked us up with some awe-worthy adventures. I’ve always wanted to see the Golden Gate Bridge in person, so I was especially elated to participate in the Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise by Red and White Fleet. The hour and a half tour covers San Francisco Bay and many notable sightseeing musts like Alcatraz, The Presidio, Palace of Fine Arts, and so much more.

We ventured out during an early evening cruise, and I must admit it was rather chilly. Thankfully, we were able to buy some fleece hoodies before we set sail, since the bay can be a little cooler than it is on land. Once we got on board, we were able to secure some treats on the boat’s concession stand, and then we headed up top to take in the scenic views.

There is no official tour guide on this cruise, but each customer receives a talking unit and headphones so you can listen in to historical facts about the landmarks and locations of things you pass along the way.

The cruise allows you to take amazing photos of some of San Francisco’s hottest attractions without actually going to them. I was able to take several awesome photos of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the San Francisco-Oakland Bridge (thus the name of the tour, Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise because it takes you from the Golden Gate Bridge to the San Francisco-Oakland Bridge and back).
