Now that the weather is warming up for most of us in the U.S., it is time to re-visit our travel style. Gone are the days of jeans, tights, and blazers. Now we can usher in some items that are lighter and perfect for the Spring and Summer climates. One of my favorite go-to clothing options for travel are maxi dresses. Maxi dresses are super comfy, affordable, and look fabulous on almost any size or shape. They can also be dressed up or down, so if you have to go straight from a flight to an event, you can do so with a maxi dress. Change the shoes, add accessories, and viola, you are ready.

Here are a few maxi dress looks that are great for travel:

H&M Maxi

This black maxi dress from H&M can be worn dressed up or down and is perfect for travel. Add a sweater or jean jacket for the plane, which tends to be a little cold, and you are ready to go. $20, H&M.

Colorblock Maxi Dress

I love this colorblocked maxi dress from Vicky Tiel that can be found at Kohl’s. It’s fab, stylish, and is travel ready. $60, Kohl’s.

Forever 21 ChevronChevron Maxi Dress

I personally own this Chevron Maxi Dress and I love it. It is so comfy and looks cute on too. I added a jean jacket to it since it was a little chilly in Los Angeles. $22.80, Forever 21.

Jersey Tank Maxi Dress

This Jersey Tank Maxi Dress from Felicity & Coco is too cute. Pair it with flats, heels, or wedges, and then you are on your way! $78.00, Nordstrom

Jet Set Maxi Dress

This Jet Set Maxi Dress was made for travel. The high slit allows you to walk through the airport without “tripping” on the dress, and it’s got a compass on it to “guide” you. At $118, it’s indeed a splurge, but for the fab girl on the go, you deserve it! Nordstom.com.

With so many maxi dress style options, you are sure to find one that fits your personality. Happy traveling!
